DAO combat is ok. just have to use the tactics correctly and pause to give orders . its a pause fight pause fight game. you pick threat targets etc. DA2 is more fast pace and doesnt really take much strat. The game is on why on earth the ultimate edition not up on sale along with origins i have no idea. i mean you are missing half the content that gives you all the hints you need heading into DA2. While origins is on sale for £2.24, the ultimate edition is £20. The vanilla version is enjoyable, but you will kick yourself if you buy it and realize you want to play the DLC. Due to the quantity of DLC (mainly the high price tag on Awakening, which comes in the ultimate edition), all of the DLC actually does cost a lot of money. I would definitely go with the Ultimate Edition. I have had no problems at all running on Win 10. I have also modded the game, played it to completion and then uninstalled to make room for other games and reinstalled when I wanted to play again - all mods intact. If you do go ahead, and you want to mod the game, I would recommend that you install all mods manually.
